We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, 66 books in all, to be the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. (II Timothy 3:14-16, II Peter 1:21)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. (I Corinthians 15:3)
We believe that the only way to be saved from the penalty of sin, which is eternal condemnation, is by faith in this blood sacrifice, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that of those who thus become His sheep He says, “I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28, Ephesians 2:8-9)
We believe that the death of Jesus Christ was ordained of God (Acts 2:23) and that it fulfilled and met every demand of the righteousness, justice and holiness of God and His law.
We believe in the physical bodily resurrection of Jesus (Luke 24) and that He ascended into heaven in the same body, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for all that come to God by Him. (Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 4:14, Ephesians 1:20-21, Hebrews 7:25)
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity. He is the author of Scripture, our teacher, comforter and He that seals the believer with Himself. (Matthew 28:19, John 16:13-14, John 14:26, Ephesians 1:13-14)
We believe that the Church which is the Body of Christ is composed of those who have received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and have been sealed and indwelt by the Holy Ghost. (John 3:3 & 36, Ephesians 1:14)
We believe that the Gospel Commission of Matthew 28:18-20 is for the Church today.
We believe in the Blessed Hope, the personal premillennial and imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:13-16)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust and in the eternal conscious punishment of the lost and the eternal joy of the saved. (Revelation 20:11-15, 22:12-14, I Corinthians 15)
