Church Staff

The Faith Bible Church staff is here to serve the church and equip them for the work of the ministry.  Each one has God-given gifts and talents that uniquely help them fill the roles God has given them in this body.

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry” (1 Timothy 1:12)

Dan Fox,  Pastor

Dan felt God tugging on his heart to preach while a student at a community college near his home in Harford County Maryland. He immediately embarked on a quest that took him through 10 years of preparation for ministry, including graduating from Bible college.

While a married student in Bible college he served 5 years helping to plant an inner city church in Anderson South Carolina. He has also served as a youth pastor in Richmond Virginia. His ministry vision includes building a church of people from all countries and ethnic backgrounds.

He came to Elkridge Maryland with the vision to grow a church on expository preaching, community evangelism, and church wide discipleship. His philosophy of ministry begins with a strong emphasis on equipping the saints for the work of ministry. He believes Christians are happiest when they find their spiritual gift and use it.

He strives to be warm hearted and practical in his preaching. Although organization is important, Dan doesn’t view church members as numbers on a flow chart, but as sheep who need to know their Shepherd, and as people who can learn to rejoice with “joy inexpressible and full of glory” as they come to know their glorious God.

Dan has been married to his wife Paula for 16 years and they have 4 children. Dan enjoys art, hanging out with his family, and getting into nature.

 

Steven Conrad,  Music Minister

Steve has been on staff on a part-time basis since 1989.  He leads the music ministry, directing the choir, coordinating special music, and playing the organ.
