Key Instructions and Details for the Live Meeting
As we gradually reopen our church, the Council wants to prepare you for our regular Sunday worship gathering. There will be no concurrent Nursery.
Here are some key instructions and details for the live meeting:
Please stay home and worship from there if you have been exposed to COVID-19 or display any of the following symptoms:
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
Please plan to arrive earlier than usual, at least ten minutes before the service. We may need to form a line at the entrances for safety precautions.
Maintain six feet of social distancing at all times from other households or individuals.
Only use the main entrance on the east side and the wheelchair entrance on the west side to enter and exit the building. Ushers will open the doors for you and check your temperature using a temperature gun.
Please wear a mask as you enter the church grounds. If you don’t have one, we will provide you a spare. You must wear masks while moving to and from your seats, speaking, conversing, reciting, and singing. You may remove masks during the sermon, but please try your best to keep it on.
Restrooms for ladies and gentlemen will be open.
The office area, and the nursery will be closed.
The pews on both sides of the worship hall will be open for seating. Individuals should locate a seat in the pews, marked by a bulletin placed there. Couples should sit together and share the bulletin.
The pulpit will be back on the stage. Sung and other assigned leaders will be the only ones on stage using the microphone and they will be at least 12 feet away without face coverings as they lead the congregation throughout the service, including announcements, reflections, Scripture readings, prayers, and sermon
There may be some congregational singing during service and instrumental music before and after service.
Please socialize in the shaded areas outside of the building after service, while maintaining six feet of social distance. That way, you can talk without masks and volunteers can begin cleaning and administrative tasks immediately.
Thank you for your cooperation!
